The big day is here — the Moanalua Elementary School 2024 Fun Fair this Friday, November 22 from 2-8 pm!
A big mahalo to our amazing volunteers and donors who are the true backbone of making the Fun Fair a reality. We couldn’t have done it without you!
As you get ready to enjoy all the fair has to offer, we have a few tips (think small-scale Disneyland planning!) to help maximize your time.

Calling all young athletes in grades K-9 from Moanalua Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, as well as the Moanalua, Salt Lake, and Red Hill communities—registration is now open for the 2024 MAC & PAL Co-Ed Basketball Program!
Fee: $50 (includes uniform tops and shorts, equipment, and awards)
Deadline to Submit Fees: December 4, 2024
Age Divisions:
Jr. Pinto: Ages 5-6
Pinto: Ages 7-8
Mustangs: Ages 9-10
Broncos: Ages 11-12
Pony: Ages 13-14
Practices & Games:
Practices will be held at the courts near the swimming pool or at Moanalua Elementary School (pending permits).
Days and times will be coordinated by coaches and the MAC Athletic Club Director.
Games will take place on weekends and evenings.

Fun Fair is less than a week away and it’s time to get ready for one of the main events! Our Silent Auction will kick off on Fun Fair morning — Friday, November 22 at 8 am! This is your chance to score fantastic items while supporting Moanalua Elementary PTO and our keiki.

Pre-ordered Fun Fair T-shirts will be sent home with children the week of Fun Fair
Pre-ordered scrips will be sent home with children on November 20
Pre-ordered wristbands will be added to your child’s wrist at the end of the school day on Fun Fair night
Go to room A5 to pick up pre-ordered scrips and wristbands if your child is absent on November 20 or November 22, or if you pre-ordered wristbands for siblings who do not attend MES.
Lastly, if you are contributing to our Plant Sale or Bake Sale, donations will be accepted curbside in our main parking lot from 7:15 to 7:55 am on the following days:
Plant Sale: November 18-20
Bake Sale: November 22

FUNFAIR VOLUNTEERS *STILL* NEEDED
We are still looking for more Fun Fair volunteers, especially the 2-8 PM shifts, as we have about 400 different shifts to cover. We need ALL of your support to help put on this fun event that serves as the LARGEST MES PTO fundraiser of the year, and brings together MES and the surrounding community. Funds raised go directly to helping fund programs that support MES students, including field trip stipends, classroom stipends, grade-level programs, R.A.P., Moanalua Moves!, and Family Nights.

FUN FAIR CURBSIDE DONATIONS: 11/12-11/15
Now’s a good time to clean out the closets and make room for incoming Christmas presents. Donate your new and gently-used items at our Curbside Donation Collection this week Tuesday 11/12 to Friday 11/15.
We’re also STILL collecting canned juice, Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite, as well as boxes of individually-sized chips.
EDEN IN LOVE X MES PTO COLLAB PRESALES
PTO members you have until Friday 11/15, for first dibs on the *NEW* Eden in Love collar items, as well as a restock of some of previously sold-out pixie pouches, medium totes, and large totes. Check your emails for the links or email president@moanaluapto.org for more information.
Items will be available at the MES Fun Fair as well, as we know that the totes are especially good at lugging all of your Keiki Korner, bake, sale, Silent Auction, and Country Store purchases!
