New and returning students are required to complete the Fall 2017 Orchestra Registration and Rental Forms. Download forms from link below. Submit completed/signed forms and $200 tuition payment (checks payable to Jeff Hamano) to the Orchestra Box in the school office (M-F from 7:30am to 4pm only) by August 29th. Orchestra program is limited to 20 students per class on a first come first serve basis, giving preference to returning students.
Parents of students attending A-Plus do NOT need to notify A-Plus of their child’s attending orchestra. Mr. Hamano will coordinate with A-Plus Coordinator, Ms. Caryn Gushikuma, to assure your child(ren) is/are excused to attend orchestra. Orchestra students shall return to A-Plus unless other arrangements are made with A-Plus by a parent/guardian.
For MES Orchestra students who are NOT enrolled in the MES A+ After-School Program, parents/guardians are responsible for picking-up their student(s) promptly after school, returning them to MES prior to orchestra class, and picking them up immediately after their scheduled orchestra lesson. Students are not allowed to remain on school campus unsupervised. For the safety of your student, we ask that parents/guardians plan accordingly.
