Congratulations and well done to all these students who faithfully did their RAP.  And to the teachers, thank you very much for all your hard work and effort to get the students to turn in their RAP on time.  A big Mahalo to Mrs. Tonaki, Librarian, and Ms. Mitsunaga, Sub Librarian, for teaching the students all about the library and the book genres so that the students chose the right books each month for their RAP.

And finally I want to thank the hard-working RAP volunteers who worked tirelessly every month to make the Let’s RAP Program a success.  Super volunteers Mrs. Sharon Fang, Mrs. Vivian Ma, and Mrs. Jackie Law for ensuring RAP coupons were printed each month and distributed to the classes, and at the end of the month, getting the envelopes back from the teachers and checking to see that every coupon was accounted for, and doing the prize distribution.  A great big Mahalo to the reviewers who stuck to the very short deadline to select the coupons for posting on the bulletin boards and website.  They are Mrs. Karen Tengan, Mrs. Esther Hayashi, Mrs. Kathy Shojinaga (grandson Kyler Shojinaga), Mrs. Eloree Amian (son Adam), Mrs. Rose Leong, Mrs. Chio Matsudo (sons Brison and Bright), and Mrs. Dariann Fernandez (son Kyler).  Finally we must not forget the man who posted all the selected RAP on the bulletin boards each month, Mr. Steve Karimoto (grandchildren Nate and Lia Choi).
