Upcoming October MES PTO Events

Fall Break is starting soon, but check out all these upcoming MES PTO events happening this October:

FALL FUNDRAISERS

Thank you to all the families who made at donation with Foodland’s Give Aloha campaign. Students can turn in a copy of their receipt at the MES office or email them to fundraising@moanaluapto.org by October 8, to get credit for our Fundraising Contest.

Kala Kokua: Make sure to order your Kala Kokua products online by Monday, October 7. Pick-up will be on Saturday, October 19, from 9 AM – noon, in the MES Parking Lot.

Our goal for our Fall Fundraiser is to raise $15k, to help support our various MES PTO programs for our MES students. Prizes will be given to the top seller; and we will also have raffles when we hit our $5k, $10k, and $15k marks. Make sure to spread the word to your friends and family so they can help out too!

Habilitat Christmas Trees: Get into the Christmas Spirit and order your Christmas trees and decorations online until 10/31. Make sure to choose “Moanalua Elementary” so MES PTO can get a portion of the proceeds.

FUN FAIR

Packets went home with students before the break in anticipation of our Fun Fair on 11/22. Make sure to take a look as there is important information inside about pre-orders (including the commemorative Tshirts that are due on 10/16); as well as ways that you can help out. The Moanalua Fun Fair is a beloved MES tradition, open to both MES families and our community, and the largest MES PTO fundraiser of the year. We need all hands on deck to help make it a success.

GARDEN CLUB EVENT: 10/12, 9-11 AM

FALL FAMILY NIGHT: 10/29

Make sure to check back after Fall Break for information on how to register for our Fall Family Night, which will feature family pumpkin carving and costume contests for both students and families. It’s always a SPOOKTACULAR event!

MES BOOK FAIR: 10/28-11/1

We are still looking for more volunteers to help out at our MES Scholastic Book Fair. Sign-up here today.

Support MES PTO with Black Friday Shopping!

Has your child lost all his or her pencils and you need to relabel them? Getting an early start on Black Friday shopping? Or are you a super planner and already stocking up on school supplies for next school year?

Make sure to check out Mabel’s Labels from now until 11/26, for up to 50% off on labels that can be used on school supplies, sports equipment, water bottles … or anything else you want to be able to find easily on the Lost and Found table.

When shopping, at campaigns.mabelslabels.com, make sure to choose “Moanalua Elementary School” so our PTO can get 20% of all proceeds. Funds raised will go toward programs that help enrich the educational experience of our students.

MES FUN FAIR IS MAKING A COMEBACK!

The MES Fun Fair is returning on Friday, December 1, 2023, just in time for it’s 50th anniversary! We can’t wait to bring back our extended MES Ê»ohana back to celebrate. There will be inflatables activities, games, a silent auction, food and craft vendors, and more.

Be on the lookout for the Fun Fair packet that will be coming home for with your child later this month. It will have important information on pre-orders for scrips and activity wristbands, donation requests, commemorative t-shirts, and how to volunteer to help.

FALL FAMILY EVENT

Our next Family Night will be on Monday, October 30, 2023. It will be a festive gathering for the whole family.

Bring your creativity to life as you carve the perfect pumpkin masterpiece. Kids, dress to impress in your most bewitching costumes for a chance to win exciting prizes. Plus, enjoy classic fall games that will delight kids and adults alike.

FALL PTO FUNDRAISERS

Help support MES students! Our goal is to raise $15k to help directly support MES students via classroom and program stipends and MES PTO-sponsored events, like STEAM events and Family Nights.
