The MES Scholastic Book Fair is just around the corner, and we need your help! Volunteers are needed to assist Librarian Mrs. Weisz in making this event a success.
Volunteers will help students select books, create wish lists, assist at the cash registers, and keep the shelves organized. Itโs a fun and rewarding way to support literacy and our MES students.

Made by MES Keiki โ Student Entrepreneur Booths Does your child have a creative idea or homemade craft to sell? Encourage their entrepreneurial spirit! Weโre inviting MES students to host their own booth and earn scrips (which can even be turned into cash, up to $100!).
Only 18 booths available โ first come, first served!
Booth fee: $5 cash
No food, drinks, or resale items โ just homemade creations

MES Got Talent โ Take the Stage! Is your child a singer, dancer, musician, comedian or magician? Maybe a group of friends want to perform together? Share their unique talent on our MES stage!

The MES Fun Fair on November 21 is next month, and pre-orders are now open for scrips and wristbands! Lock in those bonus scrips and skip the lines by ordering early and saving big.
Fun Fair Scrips: Scrips are your ticket to most of the fairโs biggest activities: inflatables, rides, grade-level games and booths, Keiki Korner, Bake Sale, Plant Sale and the PTO, Leo Club and Cub Scout booths. Scrips cannot be used at food trucks, craft booths and the Silent Auction. Each scrip is worth $1, and bonus scrips are only available with pre-order bundles:

Fun Fair Wristbands: Wristbands are the ultimate convenience for kids who want unlimited access to all inflatables and rides. Pre-order your wristband for $40 ($45 at the door), and skip paying individual scrips for every attraction (between 4 and 7 scrips each). Wristbands let kids bounce and ride as much as they want, freeing up your scrips for games and snacks.

Fun Fair VIP Parking: Looking to avoid the hassle of finding limited street parking on Fun Fair night? We have 10 stalls in the main MES Parking Lot available for purchase. You can now bid on a stall with bids starting at $100. All proceeds will go toward funding MES student activities and programs. ๐ย Pumpkin Carving Contest Show off your carving skills! Bring your own pumpkin or, for your convenience, we’ll have a limited number of pumpkins available for presale (limit 2 per family). We’ll have tools available for use โ first come, first served! Prizes will be awarded for theย Funniest,ย Scariest, andย Most Creative pumpkins!

๐ย MES Scholastic Book Fair Can’t make it to the regular Book Fair hours? The MES Library will be open from 5-6 PM for shopping.
๐ฝ๏ธ Food Pre-orders Don’t want to worry about dinner? Pre-order a Nippon Bento Michiko chicken mini-bento and drink for $9.50 each. Food will be available starting from 5:30 PM.

Fun Fair T-Shirts: Friendly reminder that the deadline to pre-order the 2025 Fun Fair T-shirts is October 15. Shirts will not be available for sale at the Fun Fair. Each year the design changes, so you’ll want to be sure to grab yours. Plus, you can wear them on Moanalua Mondays as a bonus!
