Moanalua Elementary School PTO: September Programs & Events
Join Us for CPR Family Night – September 18, 2024

We are excited to invite all MES families to our CPR Family Night on September 18, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the MES Cafe. In partnership with the Hawaii Heart Foundation, this hands-on session will teach both kids and adults essential lifesaving skills, including how to respond in a cardiac emergency.
This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to save a life! While no certification will be issued, you and your family will gain invaluable knowledge. Space is limited to the first 50 families, so please RSVP as soon as possible at bit.ly/4dV2AR6.
Don’t miss out on this chance to be prepared in an emergency—your participation could make all the difference!
September Programs: Reading as Partners & Moanalua Moves! Health and Fitness Challenge
In addition to our CPR Family Night, we are also excited to launch two engaging programs this September:
- Reading as Partners (R.A.P.) Program: This initiative encourages students to foster a love of reading by partnering with a parent, guardian, or family member. It’s a great way to bond over books and build literacy skills together.
- Moanalua Moves! Health and Fitness Challenge: Our new health and fitness challenge promotes physical activity and healthy habits among our students. Get moving and join us in this exciting new program!
Details and Participation
Flyers for both the R.A.P. program and Moanalua Moves! challenge will be sent home with students this week and are also available on our MES PTO website. Students who participate and return their completed forms with a parent/guardian’s signature will receive a small prize.
We encourage all families to take part in these enriching activities to support our students’ growth and well-being.
