MES PTO – DECEMBER EVENTS

We made it to December! Thank you to all of our MES Surfrider ‘Ohana for your support.

FUN FAIR: If you attended our Fun Fair or volunteered to help out, we want to hear from you! Complete our Google Form here to let us know what to keep and what to improve on for next year. As an added bonus, all those who complete the evaluation by 12/14, and who helped with at least one Fun Fair shift on Thursday 11/21 to Saturday 11/23, will be entered to win a goodie bag with an MES PTO x Eden in Love collab cup, 7-11 gift card, and snacks.

Join Us for MES Winter Family Night!

Cozy up and celebrate the season with us at Winter Family Night on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the MES Cafeteria.

What to Look Forward To:

  • Craft Activities: Get creative with a craft kit for just $5 per family.
  • Food for Purchase:
    • Pizza + chips + drink combo: $5
    • Kim chee ramen + drink combo: $5
    • Food pre-orders will be available with RSVP.
  • Gift Wrapping by Elves: Bring your gifts, and our helpful elves will wrap them for donations.
  • A Visit from Santa: Don’t miss your chance to meet Santa!
  • Pajama Party: Come dressed in comfy PJs and bring a blanket and pillow to sit on while enjoying the night.

The MES Fun Fair 2024 was an incredible event filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit—and it wouldn’t have been possible without YOU!

Fun Fair on Friday — Here’s What You Need to Know!

The big day is here — the Moanalua Elementary School 2024 Fun Fair this Friday, November 22 from 2-8 pm!

A big mahalo to our amazing volunteers and donors who are the true backbone of making the Fun Fair a reality. We couldn’t have done it without you!

As you get ready to enjoy all the fair has to offer, we have a few tips (think small-scale Disneyland planning!) to help maximize your time.

Plus, here’s your handy resource for food vendors, booth locations, entertainment lineup and more. We’ll have QR codes for you to scan at the fair, but for those who want a sneak peek: Fun Fair Info

Join the MAC & PAL Co-Ed Basketball Program!

Calling all young athletes in grades K-9 from Moanalua Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, as well as the Moanalua, Salt Lake, and Red Hill communities—registration is now open for the 2024 MAC & PAL Co-Ed Basketball Program!

Sign-Up Details:

  • Dates: November 18 – November 25 (online only)
  • Register here: PALmoanalua.com/basketball/
  • Fee: $50 (includes uniform tops and shorts, equipment, and awards)
  • Deadline to Submit Fees: December 4, 2024

Age Divisions:

  • Jr. Pinto: Ages 5-6
  • Pinto: Ages 7-8
  • Mustangs: Ages 9-10
  • Broncos: Ages 11-12
  • Pony: Ages 13-14

Practices & Games:

  • Practices will be held at the courts near the swimming pool or at Moanalua Elementary School (pending permits).
  • Days and times will be coordinated by coaches and the MAC Athletic Club Director.
  • Games will take place on weekends and evenings.
