We are now accepting nominations for MES PTO officer positions for the 2025-2026 school year. This is your chance to make a difference, support our school, and help plan future PTO events and initiatives.

MAC 2025 P.A.L. Volleyball Program Sign-Ups

Calling all young athletes! The Moanalua Athletic Club (MAC) is holding 2025 P.A.L. Volleyball sign-ups for students ages 7-14 (grades 2-9).

Kalo Planting Event and Garden Club Volunteer Opportunity

Kalo Planting Event

Join the MES PTO Garden Club and Kumu Po‘ohala for a hands-on kalo planting experience on Saturday, March 15, from 9 AM to noon.

Due to space limitations, this event is limited to the first 10 students and their parents. Students must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

RSVP by March 12: Saturday 3/15 Kalo Planting Sign-Up. Please only sign up if you are able to attend. Waitlisted individuals will be notified of potential openings by March 14.

After-School Garden Club Volunteers Needed

The MES PTO Garden Club is looking for adult volunteers to assist Kumu Po‘ohala in running the After-School Garden Club for MES students. Meetings will take place on Wednesdays from 1:15 to 1:45 PM.

Upcoming Events

  • March 4 – Family Painting Night (RSVPs are now filled)
  • March 13 – MES PTO Meeting, 6:00 – 7:00 PM in the MES Library. RSVP: bit.ly/4e3s9jm. Students welcome. Light refreshments provided.
  • April 26 – Aloha ʻĀina Day & Keiki Swap Meet. Start collecting recyclables and household items for the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation 3R School Recycling Drive. Funds raised will go to MES. While you are there, shop at the Keiki Swap Meet to support our current third graders in fundraising for their 2026 Big Island trip. Volunteers needed—email secretary@moanaluapto.org to help.

Keiki Rainbow Run
Help raise funds for MES PE and playground equipment by participating in the Keiki Rainbow Run on April 12, 2025, at Kaka‘ako Waterfront Park. Sign up at keikirainbowrun.org. Early bird pricing ends March 15.
