Fun Fair Volunteer Signups Extended to Nov. 1; Curbside Donation Dropoffs Also Start Nov. 1!

Fun Fair month is just a few days away and we’re still in need of LOTS more volunteers! We have extended the deadline to sign up until Friday, November 1.

We’re also counting on your amazing donations to help make the Fun Fair a success! Starting November 1, convenient curbside dropoff will be available. See below for the dates specific to your donation.

Along with items needed for our first-ever Country Store and Keiki Korner white elephant booth, we also are seeking bakers willing to satisfy the sweet tooth in all of us. The PTO Booth is asking for donations of canned soda and juice plus bottled water, and snack-size chips. Monetary donations or gift cards will also be greatly appreciated.

Be sure to submit a donation form if providing a baked good or canned drinks and chips or a gift card.

Here are the important dropoff dates to keep in mind:

Pre-Order Your Fun Fair Scrips & Wristbands! Plus Help Fill Our Store Booths!

The excitement is building and the Fun Fair on November 22 is the hot topic at school! We’ve still got a lot of planning and prepping to do, and here’s where you come in!

But first, the fun stuff!

  • Pre-Order Scrips & Wristbands: Lock in early-bird discounts when you order by November 1. You’ll get bonus scrips with purchases of $60, $100 or $200. Scrips can be used at all booths except for the Silent Auction and vendor food booths. Or save $5 on wristbands ($25 for unlimited access on all attractions all night long) when pre-ordering. Best yet, your child will get all scrips and wristbands before the Fun Fair. See above for cost per inflatable attraction if choosing to pay by scrips.
  • VIP Parking Bids: Forget trying to find a stall on the street and snag one of our limited VIP parking spots in the MES Main Parking Lot for $150. Only 10 stalls are available on a first-come, first-serve basis!
    • Note: If you will require a handicap parking stall, please email funfair@moanaluapto.org by November 1.

Let’s make the Keiki Korner (white elephant booth), Country Store and Silent Auction the most exciting spots to score those deals! But that won’t be possible without your help.

  • Keiki Korner Donations: Send our way those gently loved toys, games, stuffed animals, books, sporting goods, school/art supplies, backpacks and other small household items. This white elephant booth is run by our Grade 3 classes. Curbside donation drop-offs begin in mid-November.
  • Country Store Donations: This booth is making a debut at the 2024 Fun Fair and we’re looking for your handmade treasures, new merchandise and potted plants. Curbside donation drop-offs begin in mid-November.
  • Silent Auction Donations: We’re still taking in contributions — will you be the one to donate an item that will see the most bidding action? The online bidding allows you to easily track which items are getting outbid in real time! Get your donations in by November 1 to be part of the fun! Email silentauction@moanaluapto.org for any questions.
