It’s back! The 2nd Annual MES PTO Breakfast is happening on Friday, September 5th at 7:15 AM — and we hope to see you there!

This special morning has quickly become one of our favorite school traditions. It’s a chance to sit down with your keiki, share a hearty breakfast and connect with our wonderful admin team and fellow PTO families. Nothing starts the day quite like good food and great company!

Here’s how to join the fun:
✔️ Buy your adult meal ticket at the front office before Sept. 5th ($3.50, cash only, exact change).
✔️ Bring your receipt with you on event day.
✔️ Find the PTO tables in the back of the café and enjoy the morning together!

To express our heartfelt gratitude for your support and involvement with the Moanalua Elementary School PTO, we’re spreading some holiday cheer with a special giveaway!

Honolulu Museum of Art Tickets Giveaway 
We’re thrilled to announce that four lucky members will each receive a pair of one-day adult guest passes to the Honolulu Museum of Art as a token of our thanks. Entry for kamaaina adults is valued at $15; children 18 and under are free. The passes expire on November 15, 2025.

• Two winners were randomly selected from our current paid members as a thank-you for your membership.
• Two winners were randomly selected from members who have actively attended or volunteered at a PTO event this school year. We are especially appreciative of your support!

The big day is here — the Moanalua Elementary School 2024 Fun Fair this Friday, November 22 from 2-8 pm!

A big mahalo to our amazing volunteers and donors who are the true backbone of making the Fun Fair a reality. We couldn’t have done it without you!

As you get ready to enjoy all the fair has to offer, we have a few tips (think small-scale Disneyland planning!) to help maximize your time.

Plus, here’s your handy resource for food vendors, booth locations, entertainment lineup and more. We’ll have QR codes for you to scan at the fair, but for those who want a sneak peek: Fun Fair Info

Thank you for supporting our Fun Fair! All proceeds will go toward MES school and grade-level activities. Be safe, have fun and show aloha! We’ll see you at the fair!

Fun Fair is less than a week away and it’s time to get ready for one of the main events! Our Silent Auction will kick off on Fun Fair morning — Friday, November 22 at 8 am! This is your chance to score fantastic items while supporting Moanalua Elementary PTO and our keiki.

Bid on Amazing Prizes such as :

• Wet’n’Wild Hawaii 4-One Day Passes
• 2-Night Stay at the Hyatt Centric Hotel
• Class Pizza Party
  Note: Keep checking the site for new items up until the day of Fun Fair!

Be Ready to Join the Fun! Follow These Steps:

1. Scan the QR Code on the flyer or visit galabid.com/mesfunfair2024.
2. Register or Log In to get started.
3. Place Your Bids on the items you’re interested in. (Note: No in-person bids will be accepted.)
4. Check Your Email to see if you’ve won! Payments are made online, and winning notifications will be sent out at 7 pm.

 Silent Auction Bidding Closes: Friday, November 22 at 7 pm

After you win, head to the MES Library to pick up your items. Payment and item pickup must be completed by 8 pm when the Fun Fair ends.

Other Reminders:

• Pre-ordered Fun Fair T-shirts will be sent home with children the week of Fun Fair
• Pre-ordered scrips will be sent home with children on November 20
• Pre-ordered wristbands will be added to your child’s wrist at the end of the school day on Fun Fair night
• Go to room A5 to pick up pre-ordered scrips and wristbands if your child is absent on November 20 or November 22, or if you pre-ordered wristbands for siblings who do not attend MES.

Lastly, if you are contributing to our Plant Sale or Bake Sale, donations will be accepted curbside in our main parking lot from 7:15 to 7:55 am on the following days:

• Plant Sale: November 18-20
• Bake Sale: November 22
