Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week – May 5-9, 2025
We have a full week of activities planned to recognize our amazing MES teachers and staff for all they do to support our students. We are still actively seeking food and lei donations for our potluck on May 7, as well as monetary donations to help subsidize other activities.

We are also accepting flowers such as plumeria, crown flower, and pua kenikeni, as well as greenery like ti leaves, to make additional lei for our teachers and staff members. Email appreciation@moanaluapto.org with questions or to coordinate flower drop-off.
MES PTO Election and Family Bingo Night – May 15, 2025
We’re hosting our final Family Night of the year, immediately following the MES PTO Election. See previous post for the candidate slate.

Spring Fundraiser Distribution
Thank you to all the families who participated in our Spring Fundraiser. The funds raised will go directly back to MES students to support activities such as field trips and classroom stipends.
Just a reminder:
- In-person pick-up for gift cards will be on Thursday, May 8, from 6-8 PM during our MES PTO meeting.
- All other purchases will be sent home with students on Take-Home Tuesday, May 13.
